Having lived in Hawaii for many years and understanding the islands, weather and culture in combination with our mainland experience, knowledge and expertise, Mauna Creative is the ideal synergy of style, grace and experience for an exceedingly elegant and seamless wedding experience for our couples, their families and guests.

JENNIFER PLETCHER
Jennifer infuses every event with her signature passion, creative vision, and a deep love for meaningful connection. A former marine biologist and accomplished PADI Divemaster, her global experience—from working with whales and dolphins to producing large-scale events—shapes her dynamic, detail-driven approach. Now as Owner and Creative Director of Gemini, Jennifer brings that same energy to designing exceptional celebrations for locals, destination couples, and high-profile clients alike—often forming lasting friendships long after the final toast.
Marissa Phelps
Marissa's love for Hawaii was inspired by childhood trips to Kauai and her visions was realized when she and her husband Davin moved to Maui the day after they were married 12 years ago. They and their three children live in Lahaina and love the supportive community the island fosters.
With a background in hospitality, her evolution into events was seamless and she is a vital part of the Mauna Team as our Senior Producer. Her passion is creating thoughtful experiences based on a personal and detailed planning process. One of her favorite parts of this career is preparing brides for their wedding celebrations —helping them unwind, feel confident, and enjoy the moment fully by being present and grounded before the ceremony begins. Each celebration is a reflection of the couple, and being trusted to help bring that vision to life is something Marissa finds incredibly rewarding.
Meridith Lowe
Meridith brings over a decade of luxury wedding and event planning expertise in the Vail Valley, most recently serving as Senior Event Sales Manager at the Five-Star Four Seasons Resort & Residences Vail. Known for her refined eye for detail, strong client relationships, and unwavering dedication, she brings warmth, creativity, and leadership to every celebration—while finding joy in cooking, yoga, and time outdoors with her husband and two children.
As a collaborative firm, Gemini Events and Mauna Creative are the choice of many venues and have won the Knot "Best of" every year since 2016 and are in the Knot Hall of Fame.
