PGA Tour pro Sahith Theegala and content creator Julianna “Juju” Chan celebrated their marriage over two days on Maui: a Hindu ceremony on October 23, 2026, followed by a Western ceremony on October 24 at The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua. Mauna Creative produced the wedding weekend, which PEOPLE covered as an exclusive.

The couple met in 2015 as student athletes at Pepperdine University — he on the golf team, she on swim and dive — and were close friends for years before they started dating in 2022. They got engaged on Kauai in October 2025 and knew right away they wanted to marry in Hawaii, the place they both call their favorite.
The vision was clean and modern, with Maui’s natural beauty doing the heavy lifting. Tropical elements carried through the weekend: a green and neutral palette for the Western ceremony, and soft yellow and light pink for the Hindu ceremony. The celebration wove together Sahith’s Indian and Hindu heritage, Juju’s Chinese American heritage and local Hawaiian culture, starting with a “Dumplings and Dosas” welcome party.

Rain was forecast all day on October 24 and came down hard while the couple finished getting ready. Just as they left for their first look, the skies cleared — right when the heaviest rain was expected. Rev. Adam Gomes, born and raised on Maui, officiated, and 115 guests celebrated to live ukulele music.

For engaged couples dreaming of a wedding that feels both effortlessly luxurious and deeply connected to nature, few places in the world compare to The 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. Located on the north shore of Kauai, Hawaii, this extraordinary Hawaiian wedding venue offers a rare combination of privacy, natural beauty, lush surroundings, and exceptional service—making it one of the most sought-after destinations for a Kauai, Hawaii wedding.

Kelsey and Elliott are from Colorado and connected with Mauna Creative, who is both Colorado and Maui based, before finding their venue and together we decided the Ritz Carlton was the perfect venue for their early January wedding post holidays, what better place to escape the Colorado snow and start the new year! Their vibe was a blend of elegant and tropical and they are vibrant, joyful people and wanted to reflect that in their colors. The florals by Asa florals reflected that with more color than our more traditional weddings and brought a vision to life that was bright and celebratory.
